\nOur aim is to bring drinking water to as many people as possible, but also to do so while leaving a positive environmental impact. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

This is the mission of <\/span>WAMI<\/b><\/a>, an Italian brand of mineral water born in 2016. With every can or bottled product you buy from them, you donate 100 litres of drinking water to countries around the world that still do not have access to this precious resource. WAMI water is a minimally mineralised water that flows from the Maritime Alps from the Rocciaviva Spring at 1,300 metres above sea level and is contained in <\/span>100% recyclable packaging<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

WAMI also initiates <\/span>projects for companies<\/b> to create aqueducts for needy communities. It does this <\/span>by involving employees and consumers<\/b>: making them <\/span>aware and responsible for the litres of water they consume<\/b> during the day and their<\/span> impact on the environment<\/b>. Each company donates the exact amount of water it consumes each year.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Comprof joins WAMI project<\/span><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Everyone at <\/span>Comprof <\/b>has always demonstrated our commitment to <\/span>sustainability <\/b>and <\/span>Charity<\/b>: we create products that not only meet the needs of professionals, but are also eco-friendly. However, we wanted to get involved again with a new challenge. We started a partnership with WAMI: we are committed to <\/span>bringing water to poor districts in the Pelileo canton of Ecuador.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

For some years now, the issue of water in Ecuador has become increasingly important. Although there is a high availability of water resources in the country, as in the rest of Latin America, it is not distributed equally across the territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first positive result of our project with WAMI came in April 2021, when <\/span>the final work on an aqueduct in Salaca<\/strong> District 4 was completed<\/b>. Thanks to this, <\/span>seven families<\/b> finally had access to <\/span>10 million litres of drinking water.<\/b><\/p>\n

This year we renewed our partnership with WAMI by making our <\/span>corporate network Water Equal<\/b>. Each person working with us received a <\/span>Mug<\/b>, each of which contributes to a new water project.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”61981″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This time the recipients will be the inhabitants of <\/span>Pillate District 3<\/b>, who will have access to more than 3.5 million litres of water, which they will use for both domestic and agricultural purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this new collaboration, we are committed to becoming aware of the water impact we have on the environment. In fact, each Mug brings <\/span>120,000 litres of drinking water<\/b> to Pillate. A quantity that is by no means random, but which is equivalent to the <\/span>average annual water footprint of a person in Italy.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today more than ever, contributing with a real positive impact on people and the planet is a crucial and shared goal.
